Body: Back ½ flat silver tinsel, front ½ blue seal fur.
Veiling: Kingfisher feathers over and under the rear half of the body
Rib: Oval silver over rear, flat and oval silver tinsel over the front.
Hackle: Blue eared pheasant over front
Throat: Gadwall or teal
Cheeks: Jungle cock set low
Wings: White and black silver pheasant neck feathers tied flat with the black edges out.
Head: Black

La Blue Sandy fut la première mouche à saumon que j'ai créé en 1976 en l'honneur de la naissance de mon fils Alexandre LeBlanc. D'ailleurs le nom me fut suggéré par mon mentor Mme Carmellle Bigaouette. Sandy diminutif d'Alexandre.
